Ridgeland is home to two world-class golf clubs, Congaree Golf Club and Sergeant Jasper Golf Club.
Congaree Golf Club is run by the Congaree Foundation. This foundation has a mission to positively impact the lives of young people locally and around the globe by providing educational and vocational opportunities through the game of golf.
The Congaree Foundation actively supports local nonprofits such as the Lowcountry Food Bank, Jasper County Boys & Girls Club, area schools and other organizations helping to improve the lives of the community.
For the founders of Sergeant Jasper Golf Club, they strive to make access to the game easier for everyone. They know that while golf is a Lowcountry tradition, it hasn’t always been easy for people to become a part of.
Also a member of the Congaree Foundation, the Sergeant Jasper Golf Club is dedicated to expanding access to the game for all by providing a quality, affordable course for residents of Jasper County and the surrounding communities.
Hardeeville
While in Hardeeville, check out the Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes and Riverton Pointe Golf and Country Club.
The Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes is the area’s newest 18-hole championship golf course. This 7,300-yard course was designed by award-winning golf course designer Tommy Fazio. The course uses the land’s natural lakes and wetlands to make for a beautiful and unique experience.
A round of golf at Riverton Pointe is sure to amaze even the most avid golfer. Imagine teeing off with a backdrop of spacious green fairways lined with tall sea pines and splashes of colorful wildflowers.
